Emily Young FRBS is an internationally renowned stone carver, creating large and complex pieces carved by hand.

The presiding value is to show the natural beauty, constructed in it’s physical history, of each piece of stone. This approach allows the viewer to participate in a profound way with the planet we all share. Allied with traditional carving skills, a rare and poetic presence, both contemporary and ancient, is created.

Large and small commissions are undertaken.

Her work is in collections in both the public and private sectors, and those of private clients across the globe including:

The Imperial War Museum
St Paul’s Churchyard, London
St Pancras Church, London
Salisbury Cathedral
La Défense, Paris
Artemis, London
Anglo American, London
Standard Investments, Paris
Standard Life, Edinburgh

She is based in London and Italy.

Emily Young is represented in the UK by the Fine Art Society (see contacts in menu bar).
